Artist's Description
Preserved steam locomotive 34092 City Of Wells, wearing "Golden Arrow" fitting, departs from Ramsbottom station on the East Lancashire Railway heritage line in England. 34092 was one of the class of locomotives which in steam days would haul "The Golden Arrow", a luxury boat train linking London to Dover. At Dover the passengers would board a ferry to Calais, and rejoin the train to complete the journey to Paris.
